TOKYO - October 29, 2002 - DENSO Corporation will exhibit at the 36th Tokyo Motor Show, Exhibit 404, West Hall, from October 30 to November 3 at the Makuhari Messe (Nippon Convention Center) in Chiba, Japan. On October 29, DENSO Worldwide President and CEO Hiromu Okabe will speak at a press briefing at 11:05 a.m.
 
DENSO’s exhibit will focus on diesel and Intelligent Transport System (ITS) technologies. The exhibit emphasizes technologies that represent DENSO’s commitment to the environment.
 
“Over the years, DENSO’s high technical standards have cultivated a harmony between people and industry,” said Hiromu Okabe. “By combining our strength in manufacturing and the welfare of society, we will join our customers in the environmental century.”
 
In Japan, DENSO operates 73 group companies in Japan with sales for fiscal year ended March 31, 2002 totaling 1,643.1 billion yen (US$12.3 billion).
