On Sunday, the final day of racing, SUZUKI GSX-R1000K7 with riders Kagayama and Akiyoshi of YOSHIMURA SUZUKI with JOMO had a brilliant victory. The SUZUKI kept its 1st place position all through the final race totaling 216 laps (approximately 1250km). For the team, the victory at SUZUKA 8 Hours was its first since 1980 and was strongly deserved after such a long period of time.
DENSO has been supporting the team by supplying spark plugs for more than 20 years.

At the promotional area of the SUZUKA Circuit, DENSO had an exhibition booth promoting DENSO Iridium Power spark plugs. A series of events were held with more than 1,000 persons in attendance.
