Yoshimura Suzuki, powered with Yoshimura spark plugs by DENSO, placed second and fourth at the 8 Hour World Endurance Championship at the Suzuka Circuit in Japan on July 27, 2008. YOSHIMURA racing spark plugs are manufactured by DENSO, using the legendary Special Racing design employed by professional racing teams across the globe. The Yoshimura Suzuki ran steady from the start of the race only to lose the lead position due to a series of crashes on the wet track by the number 34 bike ridden by Kosuke Akiyoshi/Yukio Kagayama, the 2007 winner, finally finishing fourth.
Fortunately, Yoshimura Suzuki with Iridium Power number 12 bike ridden by Atsushi Watanabe/Daisaku Sakai held the second position across the finish line just behind the Team Honda.
