“Can-Paign” Food Drive 8/1/2011

Several hundred DMTN associates and contract workers donated canned food to benefit the citizens of our community who need help in meeting food needs. Two groups receiving the food to distribute to the needy were Second Harvest Food Bank and the Community Food Connection. Final total exceeded 990 pounds of food.

Although most food drives are held around the holidays, DMTN expanded to a summertime event in order to help fill empty shelves at the food banks for those in need in these difficult economic times.
