DSIT decided to support an abandoned children centre in Turin city. This centre helps children until ready for adoption. To comply with new regulation, the centre had to modify its structure and need a new washing machine. We gave a brand new one for them. We also gave them tickets to a Children's Theatre for them to have some fun during the weekends.

It was the first time I visited this kind of structure. I was very surprised to see maximum capacity rooms at 2 children each. These children were incentivated to become autonomous. Therefore they received lessons on how to cook, clean and wash their clothes by themselves. I am sure that our new washing machine will help them on their daily job.
