The 3rd Water Source Forest Preservation activity in Asuke 21.Oct.2006

| This is the third time that we conducted this activity since we started this event to express our thanks to the mercy of the Yahagi River.
We have worked to preserve the forest, thinned trees, built a bridge by using lumber from thinning, and made a step on the steep slope. We also conducted bench-making, cedar hand crafts, mushroom picking, and nature tours for families. We enjoyed taro hotchpotch and local special food, Goheimochi (rice cake), for lunch. |

After we entered nature from our city life, we could gratify our five senses by what we saw, touched, and smelled. We had a great time by using our bodies, talking with people and looking at children's smiling faces. The meal after work was so delicious.
