Fundraising campaign for a foundation to support children orphaned through traffic accidents 1-11 Mar. 2011

We organized this fundraising campaign as part of our social contribution activities this year again to make donation to the Tokai Foundation for Traffic Accident Orphans, which uses the contributions for the welfare of children orphaned by traffic accidents and for traffic safety, such as 100,000-yen grants for entering high school or for getting a job, and 50,000-yen grants for entering elementary school; organization of various events to encourage the children, including parties to celebrate graduation from junior high school; and provision of counseling sessions.

While I often feel small contribution when I make a donation alone, I can recognize that we can help much if we cooperate to make donations. We asked people at of the atelier for help and all of them made donations readily. I felt that awareness of social contribution has taken root in everyone. I hope that the activities lead to everyday social contribution. |
