With the theme of "Creating a community with comfort and fulfillment by members of the community and DENSO employees - Green & Clean-," employees and their families of DENSO and its group companies and members of the local community implemented activities including clean-up, Green Map-making, and flower bed making, while enjoying walking.
This year, we implemented the event at three more locations than we did last year. We expanded the locations as well as made the event more substantial by making a hedge on Omotehama beach to protect the area famous for loggerhead turtles spawning, and organized a green walk which deepened our understanding of creatures.

I rarely walk around the town like this, slowly and carefully. I found many new little findings and rediscoveries. I could also enjoy making a Green Map!
Through this volunteer activity, I could communicate with people I met for the first time and people from the local community.
It was a good opportunity to give thought to environmental issues which I don't normally think about.
