We planted Japanese cypress in 1992. This is an annual event in which we have been mowing the undergrowth and pruning the branches ever since. Some female participants tried working at the mountain for the first time this year; until last year, they had been in charge of preparing meals.

I took part in this activity for the first time, but it wasn't too tough for me. Actually, I enjoyed working in the forest and feeling the beauty of nature. We could unite with others from different departments, and felt a sense of accomplishment.
I want as many people as possible, regardless of whether they are men or women, to experience this feeling next year, too. |
