Craftsman 21 is a project started by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology and Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry since 2007, aiming for "human resources development for manufacturing" in cooperation with Aichi Prefecture, the local Chamber of Commerce and Industry, technical high schools and private sectors. At our company, we agreed to a local technical high school's request to arrange a practical training session for students. We implemented a training centered around practical skills for 11 students as Craftsmen, 4 students as Craftsmen Jr. and 6 students as technical guides for the technical skills certificate.

This is a 3-year national project, and is the 2nd year of the project that we implemented practical training, such as sequence control practice and technical guides for the 3rd grade skill certification of electronic machinery and apparatus assembling for Craftsmen (3rd grade students) and Craftsman Jr. (2nd grade students). We support this project in the hopes that these training sessions will lead to the "human development of people who like manufacturing."
