Cleanup of a river in the local area 6 Jun. 2010

We weeded and picked up trash to clean the area along Kasumi River, which flows through Iruma City, as a program of the Iruma Manufacturers Association to contribute to the local community. |

Eighteen persons joined in cleanup activities for about 2 hours. So much garbage was collected that we needed more garbage bags than were initially provided. I worked hard to show my gratitude to the flowers that gladdened us, such as cherry blossoms in April and irises in May. |
