We set up pull-tab collection baskets next to vending machines in the rest area and began collecting pull-tabs since FY09. The pull-tabs that are collected are used to make wheelchairs and donated to the disabled throughout Asia through WAFCA from DENSO Daian Manufacturing. Collected weight: 53 kg (as of Nov. FY2011)

I also collect all the pull-tabs from the beverages that I drink at home. I believe that the wonderful part about this activity and campaign is that everyone from children to adults can participate every day and that it raises a continued awareness for volunteer activities.
