Dear Associates,

I would like to express my appreciation to you all for cooperating in "DENSO Community Service Day." This activity was started for contributing to building a better world, not only through ethical business activities, but also as good corporate citizens, and was launched in commemoration of DENSO's 55th anniversary in 2004 to promote social contribution activities.

Under the slogan, "Turn Compassion into Action", last year 25 countries and regions/ 110 sites, with approximately 40,000 associates participated in, various activities focusing on environmental, welfare and educational field were held. Again, I would like thank all the participated sites and its associates for their efforts.

This year is 60th anniversary in commemoration of the foundation. I hope those sites and Group companies which have not taken part of the campaign will turn your eyes towards its local society and join the campaign by try to start doing what you can do, step by step. Things each one of us can do is limited, however, by cooperating and collaborating with others, our effort can be lead to bigger social contribution.

Let me ask you to help expand our Community Service Day by participating continuously in connecting your "compassion" to your local community's wellness.
