Dear Reader,

I would like to express my appreciation to you all for cooperating in "DENSO Community Service Day." This activity was started to contribute to a better world, through ethical business activities and good corporate citizenship, and was launched in commemoration of DENSO's 55th anniversary in 2004 to promote social contribution activities.

Under the slogan, "Turn Compassion into Action," last year, approximately 67,000 people, including 54,000 associates in 25 countries and regions/100 sites participated in various activities focusing on the environment, education, and helping those who are less fortunate. Again, I would like to thank all the participants.

The DENSO group is a global organization operating around the world with approximately 120,000 associates. In order for the DENSO Group companies to be trusted and respected by our communities, it is important for us to be involved in activities that help support and sustain those communities. If you have not participated in an activity yet, take this opportunity to look around and get involved in any activity that helps support your community.

I kindly ask you in the community where we operate to help expand our Community Service Day by connecting your "compassion" to your local community. Thank you for your continued cooperation in this program.
