DENSO adds corporate sponsorship of Toyota and Subaru teams

Team owner: Morris Nunn
For his abundant experience in engineering, Morris Nunn was hired by an Indy car team in the United States in 1982. After proving his ability, in 2000 he organized his own team and began participating in the CART series. In 2001, his team competed in two series, the CART and the IRL. In 2003, his team raced only in the IRL, using Toyota’s engine. He led Toranosuke Takagi to the Rookie of the Year title in the Indy 500 and Alex Barron to the winner of Michigan 500 championship. In 2004, he is dedicating his efforts to Toranosuke Takagi’s team, aiming to win the championship.

2004 marks my fourth season in the United States. In 2003, I competed for the first place in the 2 important races: the Indy Japan 300 at Motegi and the Indy 500. Ultimately, I did not win either race. This year, however, I will do my best to go one step further to win the championship.
