Jarno Trulli charged to a second place finish at the Japanese Grand Prix, in Suzuka, this past Sunday (Oct. 4). Trulli's success marked Toyota's second consecutive podium finish on the heels of last week's exciting second place victory for Toyota driver, Timo Glock, at the Singapore Grand Prix.

Both starting from second positions on the grid, Trulli battled with last year's champion, Lewis Hamilton of McLaren Mercedes. Following a slow pit for McLaren, Trulli was able to grasp 2nd position, over Hamilton, and threaten the race leader, Red Bull Team's Sebastian Vettel.

Toyota fans relished the moment as Trulli climbed the podium and hefted his 2nd place trophy before the hometown crowd in Suzuka, Japan. A magnificent moment for Toyota, and a wonderful result for the Japanese fans returning to the Suzuka circuit after a 2 year hiatus in Formula One.

In addition to being a major sponsor of the Toyota F1 Team since 2004, DENSO also supplies exclusively designed DENSO RACING PLUGS for the Toyota vehicle, and has since the 2002 F1 season. The race result once again helped to prove the superior quality and excellence of DENSO SPARK PLUGS, even at the highest echelons of international racing.
