WGP125 Red Bull Ajo Motorsport’s Marquez wins fourth consecutive victory with DENSO Iridium Racing Spark Plugs

Spanish Red Bull Ajo Motorsport rider Marc Marquez took hold of the Championship lead today, after a dominant victory in his home Grand Prix at the Barcelona circuit. After setting the pace in all of the practice sessions of the weekend, Marquez started from pole position and cleared off from the start, leaving the rest of the field to fight for 2nd position. The Barcelona victory was the fourth consecutive victory for the young Spaniard, making him the youngest ever rider to win four back-to-back races. German Avant Mitsubishi Ajo rider Sandro Cortese was also among the top-honour fighters in the race, having a race-long battle for 5th place and finally securing 4th place at the chequered flag after pulling off an impossible passing manoeuvre at the final corner.

DENSO has been sponsoring Ajo Motorsports for 8 years, since the days of famous Japanese WGP rider, Masao Azuma, and has provided the most suitable Iridium Racing spark plugs, "IAE01-34", for generating maximum power from the machine.
