DENSO Group to Donate Funds for Great East Japan Earthquake Relief
DENSO expresses its deepest condolences to all those who lost their lives in the Great East Japan Earthquake and its aftermath, as well as its sympathy to the people affected.
DENSO will donate 200 million yen (approximately US$2.4 million) to aid in the recovery efforts in Japan. DENSO has also provided the buildings of DENSO East Japan, located in Fukushima prefecture, as an emergency evacuation area for approximately 2000 evacuees and has distributed food and blankets. DENSO will continue to provide relief supplies to the affected areas.
The earthquake and its aftermath is an unprecedented country-level disaster. DENSO will continue to provide its utmost support to the relief and recovery efforts for the affected people and areas.
